Since 1990, Andorra's standard car registration plates measure 340 x 120 millimeters, featuring black characters on a reflective white background. These license plates follow the L1111 configuration, ranging from A0000 to Z9999, skipping certain letters and combinations that could cause confusion. On the left side of the plate, the coat of arms of Andorra is shown, and since 2011, the country code "AND" and the name "PRINCIPAT D'ANDORRA" appear below it. Before 2011, this text was not included. Prior to 1990, license plates had a five-digit numeric format (never reaching 58000, as that range is reserved for historical vehicles).
